Position Summary:

Horatio is seeking to hire a Legal Analyst to join our Legal team. As a Legal Analyst, you will serve as one of the in-house attorneys for the company, working in all areas of Horatio's Legal team while reinforcing the company’s policies and processes. The position is full-time. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all legal-related company matters.
  • Review contracts, corporate agreements and redact documents directed to governmental entities.
  • Prepare affidavits, legal correspondence, and other documents.
  • Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
  • Meeting with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to discuss case details.
  • Investigating facts and laws of cases and searching public records and other resources to prepare cases and determine causes of action.
  • Gathering and analyzing statutes, decisions, legal articles, codes, documents, and other data.
  • Keeping law library up-to-date by monitoring legal volumes.
  • Other functions in the Department that are required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced English Proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Excellent organization, time management, problem-solving skills, and demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and passion for results
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics.
  • Own   vehicle   (preferable)
  • Teamwork, proactive, and interested in developing and learning.

Education and Experience:

  • Law degree and bar admission 
  • Exequatur 
  • 2+ years of law experience in the role or similar positions
