Social Media & Content Creator (SDQ)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Social Media & Content Creator who will own Horatio’s content strategy across Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as oversee additional content initiatives such as podcasts and thought leadership campaigns. This person will work closely with our multimedia specialist & our designer to create compelling visual and written content, ensuring consistency and engagement. They will also be responsible for scheduling, posting, performance tracking, and optimizing content to maximize reach and impact.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic content plan tailored to the market.
- Create and manage engaging content for Instagram and LinkedIn, including video, graphics, and copy.
- Write compelling copy for posts, ensuring brand voice consistency.
- Collaborate with our creative team to create high-quality visual assets.
- Plan and manage content for additional initiatives, such as podcasts and editorial features.
- Schedule, publish, and track content performance, using data insights to optimize strategy.
- Stay up to date with trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to enhance engagement and reach.
- Support the broader marketing team on storytelling and content-driven campaigns
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proven experience managing Instagram and LinkedIn for a B2B (US Market) or multinational brand.
- Strong video content creation skills, with an eye for storytelling.
- Excellent copywriting and communication skills.
- Experience with content scheduling tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A creative mindset with a data-driven approach to content performance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
