Event Planner (SDQ)
Position Summary:
Hire Horatio, a leading next-generation BPO, seeks a detail-oriented Event Planner to enhance our brand, build client relationships, and foster team cohesion. This role involves meticulously planning and executing a diverse range of events, from client appreciation gatherings to large-scale industry summits, ensuring each event reflects Hire Horatio's commitment to excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Strategy & Management: Develop event concepts aligned with business goals and manage all aspects of event planning from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution within budget and timeline.
Logistics & Vendor Relations: Research venues, source and negotiate with vendors (catering, AV, etc.), and manage all logistical details including setup, guest lists, and on-site coordination.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with marketing, sales, and HR to promote events and maintain clear communication with all internal and external stakeholders.
Evaluation & Improvement: Conduct post-event analysis, gather feedback, and report on key metrics to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance & Travel: Ensure all events comply with regulations and be willing to travel as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Exceptional Organization & Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Strong Communication & Negotiation: Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Spanish (must), with proven negotiation abilities.
Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Quick thinking and ability to adapt to changing circumstances under pressure.
Budgeting & Project Management: Proven experience managing event budgets and understanding project management principles.
Creativity & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to conceptualize engaging events and build strong relationships.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive event planning experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
A strong portfolio of successful events.
