Position Summary:

We're seeking a Gamer Success Specialist to help us activate new users and turn passive signups into loyal, active participants. You’ll be the first point of human contact for users who registered but haven’t fully explored our features. Your job is to understand their experience, identify blockers, and help them get excited about staking and winning with 1v1me.

This high-impact role blends customer empathy, outreach, and a deep understanding of gamer behavior.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively contact recently registered users who haven't engaged with key features (calls, texts, or emails)
  • Understand user pain points, expectations, and feedback in short 1:1 conversations
  • Guide users through the staking experience and how the platform works
  • Help users place their first stake or join a tournament
  • Surface recurring user insights to the product and growth teams
  • Track outreach and conversion efforts in our CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing on how to best re-engage cold leads

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • % of contacted users who become active participants (conversion rate)
  • Collecting and synthesizing feedback that drives product improvements
  • Helping users complete their first action (e.g., placing a stake)
  • Maintaining high engagement or satisfaction scores from contacted users
 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Advanced English proficiency. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable with cold outreach (calls/messages) and speaking with users
  • Passionate about gaming, sports, or fan culture
  • Experience in customer support, sales, or user onboarding is a plus
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
 

Education and Experience:

  • Customer service or sales experience is preferred.
