Site & Demand Planner (SDQ)
Position Summary:
To strategically plan, manage, and optimize the physical layout and seating capacity of Hire Horatio's BPO sites. This role ensures maximum efficiency, a positive working environment, and effective utilization of real estate assets while supporting business growth and operational needs.
Responsibilities:
● Capacity Management: Ensure the site always has optimal seating capacity to accommodate current staffing and projected growth, minimizing idle seats and preventing overcapacity issues.
● Operational Efficiency: Design and implement seating arrangements that promote team collaboration, optimize workflow, and adhere to operational policies (e.g., security, fire safety).
● Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary point of contact for seating and site layout requests, translating business requirements from Operations, HR, and IT into practical, achievable site plans.
● Asset Utilization: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory and floor plan management system (e.g., CAD, FM software) for all physical assets, seats, and spaces.
Required Skills/Abilities:
● Space Planning Software: Expert proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g., AutoCAD) and/or Facility Management (FM) systems.
● Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret headcount forecasts, utilization rates, and real estate metrics to make data-driven planning decisions.
● BPO/Call Center Operations: Understanding of BPO site requirements, including security zones, technical infrastructure (network/power drops), and regulatory compliance for seat density.
● Project Management: Ability to manage multiple site planning projects simultaneously, from initial concept through implementation.
● Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced proficiency in Excel for tracking, reporting, and modeling capacity scenarios.
● Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex seating and layout proposals to non-technical stakeholders.
● Problem-Solving: Proactive and creative approach to solving complex space constraint issues under tight deadlines.
● Attention to Detail: Meticulous precision in managing floor plans, seating charts, and asset inventories.
● Negotiation & Influence: Ability to manage conflicting priorities among different departments and influence consensus on space utilization decisions.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Site Planning, Space Planning, Facilities Management, or similar role.
- Proven experience specifically within a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or Call Center environment is highly preferred.
- Experience managing space for multi-site organizations or large-scale campus environments.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering site plans that resulted in measurable operational efficiencies or cost savings.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: Professional certification in Facilities Management (e.g., CFM) or Project Management (e.g., PMP).
