Position Summary:
We are looking for a Collections Specialist (SDQ). You will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive customer relationships. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a professional approach to resolving disputes.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate contact with delinquent account holders through phone calls, emails, or written correspondence to request payment.
- Negotiate payment terms and arrangements in accordance with company policies and client needs.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries, disputes, and concerns related to overdue accounts.
- Document all communications and agreements accurately in the collection system.
- Monitor and follow up on payment schedules to ensure timely resolution of accounts.
- Maintain detailed reports on collection status and progress to management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with detail and accuracy in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 2-3 years experience in a Collections Specialist role.
