Position Summary

We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who views quality through the lens of engineering. You will be a key player in our Quality as Code initiative, moving beyond manual checklists to build automated, scalable, and resilient systems. Your mission will be to ensure seamless integration and data integrity between our Odoo ERP, AWS infrastructure, and Snowflake data warehouse, leveraging the power of Python and modern AI productivity tools.

2. Responsibilities

• Quality as Code Leadership: Design and implement robust automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring that quality is embedded into the development lifecycle.
• End-to-End Automation: Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python and Playwright (or similar tools like Pytest/Selenium) to validate complex web workflows.
• Data & ETL Validation: Perform deep-dive SQL auditing and validation of ETL pipelines within Snowflake to ensure high data quality and consistency.
• Infrastructure & Cloud Testing: Collaborate with DevOps to validate cloud resource deployments, monitor state management in Terraform, and ensure system reliability within AWS.
• ERP Integration: Navigate and test Odoo ERP environments, utilizing your understanding of ORMs to validate backend logic and data structures.
• CI/CD Optimization: Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions pipelines to facilitate continuous deployment and rapid feedback loops.
• AI-Enhanced Engineering: Adopt and implement AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Claude) to accelerate test generation and troubleshooting processes.

3. Required Skills

• Professional Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software QA Automation or SDET roles, with a proven track record of testing complex ecosystems.
• Python Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Python. You must be able to write clean, complex, and maintainable code, and be comfortable navigating backend architectures.
• Automation Frameworks: Expert-level knowledge of Playwright (preferred), Pytest, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Data & SQL Mastery: Strong ability to write complex SQL queries and experience validating data warehouses (Snowflake experience is a significant plus).
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS services and an understanding of Infrastructure as Code (specifically Terraform).
• Technical Communication: Professional English level (B1/B2) for effective technical collaboration with global teams.
• Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, "engineering-first" environment.
