Position Summary:

An ID (Instructional Designer) is someone who supports our company goals by creating, implementing, and managing training programs across the organization. This involves working with department leaders to identify training needs, designing course materials and assessments, and utilizing instructional technologies to develop engaging and effective learning experiences. The role requires expertise in instructional design principles, learning management systems, and the ability to measure training effectiveness.

 

Responsibilities:

● Design and develop instructional materials, including course outlines, instructional

text, and multimedia content.

● Implement engaging and interactive training programs using various instructional

technologies.

● Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deploy, track, and manage training

initiatives.

● Apply adult learning theories and instructional design principles to ensure the

effectiveness of training programs.

● Create and administer tools to evaluate the impact of training on employee skills,

performance, and job satisfaction.

● Update and refine training programs based on feedback and evolving business

requirements.

● Manage multiple training project timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met with quality

deliverables.

● Stay current with the latest trends in instructional design and technology to

continuously improve training effectiveness.

Required Skills/Abilities:

● Proficiency in instructional design software (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate

or any other) and Learning Management Systems.

● Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models.

● Ability to analyze training needs and convert them into engaging learning solutions

and evaluate the effectiveness of such solutions.

● Project management skills, with a knack for managing multiple projects and meeting

deadlines.

● High proficiency in developing and implementing interactive and multimedia learning

materials.

● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting clear and

compelling training content.

● Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and innovate in

training design.

● Capability to work collaboratively across teams and with all levels of management.

● Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and business needs.

 

Education and Experience:

● Degrees or certificates in the following: Instructional Design or Educational Technology, Learning psychology or other related discipline.

● 1-2+ years of experience in designing and developing training materials and programs, evidenced through a portfolio of work (including online courses, interactive learning modules, and training videos).

● Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for deploying and

tracking training is a plus
