Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer Specialist to join our team in Bogota. The ideal candidate will contribute to our backend services while helping implement DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend services for:
    • AI/ML applications
    • Data processing applications
    • Web applications
    • API integrations
  • Contribute to DevOps practices implementation
  • Support observability implementation
  • Help establish proper repository structure
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
  • Mentor team members in backend development best practices
  • Develop and maintain:
    • Custom Odoo modules
    • Streamlit DataApps
    • Odoo integrations with external systems
    • Business process automation in Odoo
  • Implement backend services for:
    • DataApp data processing
    • Odoo customizations
    • Real-time data updates
  • Optimize performance for both Odoo and Streamlit applications
  • Create reusable components for DataApps

Technical Requirements

Must-Have:

  • 3-5 years of backend development experience
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Experience with API development
  • Knowledge of cloud services (AWS)
  • Understanding of DevOps practices
  • Version control expertise (Git, GitHub)
  • Experience with containerization (Docker)
  • Understanding of ERP systems
  • Experience with web frameworks
  • Knowledge of business process implementation
  • Understanding of data visualization concepts
  • Intermediate English proficiency

Preferred Experience:

  • Snowflake development
  • Experience with AI/ML applications
  • Knowledge of IaC (CDK, CloudFormation)
  • Familiarity with observability tools
  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of data processing pipelines
  • Odoo development experience
  • Streamlit application development
  • Experience with ERP customization
  • Knowledge of business process modeling
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles
