We are seeking a dynamic and motivated English Program Assistant to join our

Learning & Development team. This role is an integral part of our mission to drive

operational excellence by enhancing the English communication skills of our

customer-facing employees. The ideal candidate will support the English Program

Lead in designing, delivering, and evaluating language training initiatives. You will

be instrumental in coaching employees to improve their pronunciation, grammar,

and professional communication, directly impacting customer satisfaction and

employee confidence.

 

Key Responsibilities

● Support the design and delivery of comprehensive English language training

programs focusing on accent neutralization, grammar, vocabulary, and

BPO-specific communication protocols.

● Assist in facilitating engaging group workshops and provide targeted

one-on-one coaching sessions to address individual language needs and

improve performance.

● Assist in the administration and evaluation of English proficiency assessments

(e.g., VETAs, Versant) to benchmark employee skill levels.

● Develop and maintain a repository of practical and engaging training

materials, including presentations, job aids, e-learning modules, and

role-playing scenarios relevant to the BPO environment.

● Monitor, track, and report on employee progress, providing actionable

feedback to learners and insights to management.

● Collaborate with Operations and Quality Assurance teams to identify

communication-related performance gaps and recommend targeted

training solutions.

● Provide administrative support for the English Program, including scheduling

training sessions, managing logistics, and maintaining training records.


Qualifications and Competencies

● Bachelor’s degree or in the final years of study in English, Education, Linguistics,

Communications, or a related field.

● Native or near-native English proficiency (C1/C2 level on the CEFR scale) with

an exceptional command of grammar, syntax, and phonetics.

● Strong understanding of North American English pronunciation and intonation

patterns.

● Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, motivate adult

learners, and provide constructive feedback in a professional manner.

● Proficiency with Google Workspace Suite (G-Slides, G-Sheets, G-Docs, etc.)
