Position Summary

We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Specialist who is highly proactive and service-oriented. In this high-visibility role, you will serve as the first line of defense for our employees, ensuring their hardware and software operate seamlessly. This position is ideal for a problem-solver eager to collaborate with executives and scale IT operations through automation and policy development.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide comprehensive hardware and software support for internal staff across key platforms, including OneLogin, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Azure, Zoom, and Slack.
  • Identity & Access Management: Manage the full user lifecycle by setting up and removing accounts, prioritizing the implementation of automated provisioning methods.
  • System Maintenance: Proactively maintain desktop systems by managing OS patches, software updates, and ensuring robust antivirus and malware protection.
  • Asset & Vendor Management: Track and update IT inventory and collaborate directly with external vendors to resolve complex technical hurdles.
  • Infrastructure & Security: Work with technology teams to identify security risks, address vulnerabilities, and triage/escalate requests using our ITSM toolset.
  • Documentation & Policy: Assist in maintaining our Jira Confluence knowledge base. 
  • You will also examine existing IT procedures and propose, draft, or edit new policies to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Proven experience working in a professional IT environment with a strong foundation in customer service.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications (Azure, Google Workspace) and desktop troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to manage workplace relationships effectively.
  • A "think out-of-the-box" mentality for complex problem-solving.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

This is an on-site position in Bogota.
