Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Recruitment Specialist to help direct our Bogota-based talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing strategic hiring initiatives across all job levels and ensuring that our recruitment efforts remain in lockstep with the company's broader goals.
Please note that proven leadership experience and a strong background in recruiting within the BPO industry are strict requirements for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of recruiters, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture through regular 1:1 coaching, skill-development sessions, and continuous feedback.
- Support the Recruitment Manager in overseeing the department, directing workflows to hit team objectives, and fostering a high-engagement work environment.
- Be responsible for tracking individual and departmental KPIs, managing the team's budget, and maintaining all required recruitment trackers.
- Maintain excellent collaboration and working relationships with support areas.
- Work with the Recruitment Marketing team to align business needs and ensure a healthy, consistent candidate pipeline.
- Manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and maintain accurate records for both Staff and Associate vacancies.
- Exercise sound judgment and maintain high levels of discretion when managing HR matters, including resolving conflicts and interpreting company policies.
- Actively champions the Horatio culture and values within the team and ensures it is reflected in all professional interactions with team members, candidates, stakeholders, etc.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced, near native English proficiency.
- Mandatory background in BPO recruitment is required, with a deep understanding of the industry's fast-paced metrics and volume.
- Mandatory leadership experience—proven ability to manage workflows, drive team performance, and guide other recruiters.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset to effectively support and scale the team's recruitment efforts.
- Proven ability to meet individual and team deadlines in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities.
- Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated discretion, good judgment, and adaptability in various situations.
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Proficient in utilizing diverse candidate sources and recruiting systems.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with leadership/recruiting responsibilities or in a recruiting senior role specifically within the BPO industry.
- Proven experience leading, mentoring, and directing teams.
- Professional in Psychology, Business Administration, or relevant fields.
- Experience recruiting staff and administrative roles, including manager and director-level positions.
This is an on-site role in Bogota.
