Position Summary
Horatio is seeking a seasoned Senior Recruitment Specialist to help direct our Bogota-based talent acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for advancing strategic hiring initiatives across all job levels and ensuring that our recruitment efforts remain in lockstep with the company's broader goals.
This is an on-site role in Bogota.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Recruitment Manager in overseeing the department, directing workflows to hit team objectives, and fostering a collaborative, high-engagement work environment.
- Be responsible for tracking individual and departmental KPIs, managing the team's budget, and maintaining all required recruitment trackers.
- Maintain excellent collaboration and working relationships with support areas.
- Work together with the Recruitment Marketing team to align business needs, open requisitions, volume of applications, and overall marketing efforts to ensure a healthy and consistent candidate pipeline.
- Assess applications and conduct initial interviews to gather details on work history, education, training, job skills, and salary expectations, while managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously and maintaining accurate records for both Staff and Associate vacancies.
- Identify and attract candidates using various sourcing tools and techniques, including online social networking, traditional networking, and referrals.
- Exercise sound judgment and maintain high levels of discretion when managing HR matters, including resolving conflicts and interpreting company policies.
- Provides support to various administrative Recruitment functions as needed, and undertakes additional responsibilities as required.
- Actively champions the Horatio culture and values within the team, and ensures it is reflected in all professional interactions with team members, candidates, stakeholders, etc.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to junior and mid-level recruiters, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture through regular 1:1 coaching, skill-development sessions, and continuous feedback.
- Participate in the executive leadership monthly meeting when needed, presenting the department's results, analysis, and strategic recommendations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced, near native English proficiency.
- Background in BPO recruitment is required, with a focus on staff-level roles. Candidates with leadership experience are preferred.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset to effectively support and scale the team's recruitment efforts.
- Proven ability to meet individual and team deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with changing priorities.
- Strong level of influence and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated discretion, good judgment, and adaptability in various situations.
- A demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
- Proficient in utilizing diverse candidate sources and recruiting systems.
- A team player, eager to contribute to departmental workflows.
- Highly organized, meticulous, and a self-starter.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects effectively.
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience with recruiting responsibilities or in a recruiting senior role within the BPO industry.
- Professional in Psychology, Business Administration, or relevant fields.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Extensive experience recruiting staff and administrative roles, including manager and director-level positions.
