Position Summary:

A People Culture & Wellness Manager is a strategic leader who cultivates a positive and productive workplace culture. By fostering employee well-being, engagement, and satisfaction, you'll contribute directly to the organization's overall success. As a People Culture & Wellness Manager at Horatio, you'll develop and execute innovative strategies to elevate the employee experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of People Experience specialists to ensure that initiatives & departmental tasks are completed.
  • Propose and implement initiatives to engage, develop, and motivate employees.
  • Accountable for the delivery of a standardized efficient service for the People lifecycle, calendar events, as well as processes and initiatives to support the delivery of the People Experience Team
  • Develop data reporting and metrics to drive strategic data insights for the organization, including the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs. 
  • Promote a culture of evidence-based decision-making and data awareness. 
  • Identify and systemize processes as part of providing a great employee experience using data gathered from the experience of employees.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of  Recruitment to ensure that all recruits receive a smooth and effective induction and feel supported throughout the employee lifecycle.  Coordinate the onboarding of new hires.
  • Use the Onboarding Satisfaction Survey results as a guide for future iterations and for improving the onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Implement employee rewards programs that recognize performance achievements and service anniversaries. 
  • Plan awesome office events and play an active role in employee celebration programs.
  • Bring a positive tone to the office and advocate our fun and inclusive company culture.
  • Foster a good employer-employee relationship.
  • Assess employees' needs, evaluate the feedback, and translate those into actionable recommendations to improve Horatio's work environment.
  • Responsible for creating and distributing employee feedback surveys. 
  • Present recommendations to upper management after compiling survey results.
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition team to greet candidates and develop a thoughtful and welcoming interview experience.
  • Improve efficient and engaging communication across the organization.
  • Effectively manage and coordinate the department's inventory and budget.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Employee Engagement: Creating and implementing strategies to boost morale, motivation, and job satisfaction.
  • Wellness Programs: Designing and managing wellness initiatives, such as fitness programs, stress management workshops, and mental health resources.
  • Data Analysis: Using data to measure the effectiveness of people programs and make data-driven decisions.
  • Budgeting: Managing budgets for people programs and initiatives.

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in organizational/Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
