Position Summary:

The Training Director is a strategic leader responsible for driving organizational performance through effective training and development initiatives. This role will oversee the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs that align with the company's strategic goals and enhance employee capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a passionate educator with a proven track record of developing and delivering impactful training experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive training and development strategy that supports the company's overall business objectives.
  • Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps, knowledge deficiencies, and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Program Design: Design, develop, and implement innovative training programs that address identified needs and enhance employee performance.
  • Content Development: Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, workshops, simulations, and e-learning modules.
  • Facilitation: Deliver high-quality training sessions, workshops, and webinars to a diverse audience, leveraging effective instructional techniques and adult learning principles.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop and implement metrics to track the effectiveness of training programs and measure their impact on individual and organizational performance.
  • Talent Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by providing opportunities for employees to grow their skills and advance their careers.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external training providers and vendors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees, to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships and influence others; excellent organizational and time management skills; proficiency in adult learning theory and instructional design methods; experience with various training methodologies (e.g., classroom, online, blended learning); and a passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Strategic focus: Emphasizes the role of the Training Director in aligning training with organizational strategy.
  • Leadership and development: Highlights the importance of leading and developing a team of training professionals.
  • Technology proficiency: Recognizes the need for expertise in training technologies and LMS.
  • BPO experience: Specifically mentions experience in a BPO or contact center environment.
  • Continuous learning: Reinforces the importance of a passion for continuous learning and development.
  • Advanced English proficiency
 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Training, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a training or development role, with a proven track record of designing and delivering effective programs.
  • Experience in a BPO or contact center environment
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
