Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Shopify eCommerce Specialist to join our digital team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, and optimization of our multiple Shopify stores platform, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and efficient online shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- E-Commerce Integration: Maintain and optimize Shopify store functionalities, including products, pages, collections, and third-party app integrations, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Website Maintenance: Maintain the company’s e-commerce website, ensuring functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Content Management: Manage and update website content using a content management system (CMS), ensuring all information is current and accurate. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize website user experience, big eye in customer experience, and responsiveness for multiple screensize, including mobile, as well as being able to debug, speed, bottleneck or issues that could occur.
- SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO best practices and track website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Device and Cross-Browser Compatibility: Ensure the website is fully responsive and functions seamlessly across various devices and browsers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, design, and content teams to ensure website alignment with branding and marketing strategies.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect customer data and ensure compliance with industry standards. As well as self security and personal environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript. As well as having worked with Liquid (Shopify's templating language), Section schema is a Plus.
- Experience with the “Shopify Plus” stores or managing multi-language stores is a bonus, not a requirement.
- Understanding of SEO principles and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
- A constant learner, enthusiastic about the latest technologies.
Education and Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
